Hyssteria
Not much has been happening in B'lore for a while, but then again quite a few things have been. Adi had come over from Bhadrachalam (dont ask me what he's doing in the Naxal infested heartland of Tribal AP) Sure was a pleasant surprise, meeting him after more than a year. Then we had this Alumni get-together, which didn't go all that well as far as I was concerned atleast. Too many talks (about Enterpreunership, Mid career crises..blah blah) which I wasn't really in a mood to stomach on a nice Saturday evening. Sid and I were outside most of the time trying our hand at photography. But then again got to meet some old friends. No thanks to Sanat and Abesh though, for ditching us.
Of course, football still remains the highlight of the weekend. The only thing that I actually look forward to on weekends. Played two hours of good, solid football again this Saturday at the parade grounds. Managed to score three goals as well. (Boy, am I getting better or what?) Finally after a severe dearth of good English plays at Rangashankara, Evam came to town with their double comedy. Went for both plays. 'Hyssteria', an all-out farcical dim-witted, outrageously hilarious comedy on the lines of the Monty Python series and the rather more sane and cynical 'Art'. Bade farewell to Rakesh yesterday. He's leaving for the UK to pursue his MS.
Am still waiting for that all too elusive internet connection. Hope it arrives in the next couple of days.
